M32 Routing
How audio gets in and out of the Sanctuary Soundboard (Midas M32).
Inputs
The M32 can take inputs from three places, selectable per channel block:
- Local inputs — the jacks on the back of the board itself. This is where the analog snake from the stage wall outlets lands, and where the wireless mic receivers are plugged in.
- AES A — the S32 stagebox in the stage rack under the stage, fed by the floor pockets (keys, drums, background vocals in the middle of the stage).
- Dante — not really used much for inputs, except PC audio from MEDIA1 via Dante Virtual Soundcard (DVS).
Outputs
- Mains — a mono mains feed to the amp closet, into the Bose signal processor and amp stack. Output runs back down the analog snake.
- Mix 8 — live stream — sent out over Dante to DVS on MEDIA2, into vMix.
