Audio Equipment
Signal path
Audio from the stage comes into the board one of two ways:
- Wall outlets (older) → analog multi-channel snake up to the sound booth → local inputs on the board. The snake also carries outputs back down for the amps.
- Floor pockets (newer) → stage rack under the stage → S32 stagebox → AES to AES A on the board. These mainly serve the instruments in the middle of the stage (keys, drums, background vocals).
Out of the board:
- House: a mono mains feed goes to the amp closet → Bose signal processor (crossover) → the amp stack → speakers.
- Live stream: mix 8 goes out over Dante to the Dante Virtual Soundcard (DVS) on MEDIA2, into vMix.
- PC audio from MEDIA1 also comes into the board via DVS.
See M32 Routing for the details of what's patched where.
